and the scotland stole the show!

i was surfing the net and trying to search the scotland video that was shown during the closing ceremony of the delhi 2010 commonwealth games. i had watched the video once and that too in the stadium. you tube was disappointing at first but later i found the same video which was posted by the BBC.
the closing ceremony was just boring, but what stole the show was the performance by the scotland people. that was simply amazing, something all the viewers wanted to see after a lot of 'indian cultural monotonous performances' basically india had nothing much to show other than the 'cultural and traditional performances. thats good but a lot of stuff was being repeated so something that energized the crowd was the scotish performance. there was short video about scotland with just music which was followed by the presentation on the field. well the short video takes you through scotland. the performance on the field was initiated by bagpipe music and that was motivating, encouraging...

so by the end of the show the stadium had almost everyone crazy. the indian bollywood music was something that could easily engulf the attention of thousands of indians dancing at the frolicking. and that was the time we were being fooled something that would be crazy for the VIP and foreign elites was being used to involve the indian man to jump on his seat where at he same time the 'important' people and the players were being taken to buses and cars. finally the stadium had maximum no. of indians dancing unknowing the fact that they were made to dance to avoid crowding and stampede at the exit gates.
